Scheduling Meetings On Quely

How to Schedule Meetings from Quely

Quely allows you to schedule meetings directly from a discussion thread or view your calendar to see what’s already scheduled, all without leaving the context of your work.

This keeps your planning focused, reduces the need for external tools, and helps your team stay aligned on when conversations happen.

Viewing Scheduled Meetings for the Day from the Session

To quickly check what meetings are already scheduled for the day:

  1. Navigate to the bottom left of your session.
  2. Click the calendar icon marked in the session panel.
  3. This opens a view of your calendar events for the selected day, so you can plan around existing time blocks.

Use this to avoid double-booking or to sync planning with existing team events.

Scheduling a Meeting from a Thread

If a thread needs to move from async to live discussion, you can create a meeting right from the chat:

  1. Open the thread where the conversation is happening.
  2. In the reply input, click the calendar icon on the bottom-right.
  3. A scheduling modal will appear. Here, you can: Enter a meeting title

Select a meeting type (e.g., Google Meet, Microsoft Teams)

Choose a duration (e.g., 30, 45, 60 minutes)

Add participants from your team

  1. Click Schedule to finalize the meeting.

Best Practices

  • Use the calendar view to check for conflicts before booking
  • Be descriptive with your meeting titles so teammates understand the goal
  • Try to limit live meetings to only what can’t be resolved asynchronously
