Using Assignment Health
The Assignment Health dashboard gives you real-time visibility into your team’s bandwidth and workload as you assign tasks in a Quely session. Whether you're planning a sprint or managing lean work cycles, this feature helps ensure your task distribution is balanced and sustainable.
Why Use Assignment Health?
Assignment Health is designed to help you:
- See who is available, overbooked, or at risk
- Track individual capacity vs. assigned hours
- Avoid over allocation during sprint planning
- Make informed assignment decisions in real time
Key Metrics You’ll See
The dashboard includes the following for each participant:
Column | Description |
|---|---|
Name | Team member participating in the session |
Hours Assigned | Total estimated hours currently assigned to them |
Capacity | Number of hours they’ve marked as available |
Bandwidth Remaining | % of their capacity still unassigned |
Status | Visual indicator (Available, At Risk, Overloaded) |
This data is updated live as you assign tasks. |
Status Indicators
🟣 Available — The team member has capacity left within their availability
🟠 Assigned — The team member’s capacity is nearly full or uncertain
🔴 Overloaded — Assigned work exceeds declared availability
