🗨️ Chats
1. Initiating New Chats
- Input Bar:
- Locate the large input field below the Quick Bar at the bottom of your screen.
- Type your message, question, or comment into this field.
- Click the "Send" button next to the input field.

Appearance of Initial Chats: Once sent, these initial messages appear as "bubbles" directly around the session content on the main screen, making them visible in the primary workspace without opening a separate panel immediately.
2. The Dedicated "Chats" Tab
Quely provides a central "Chats" tab at the top of the interface, serving as a directory for all initial chat messages sent within your various sessions or topics.
Accessing the "Chats" Tab: Click on the **"Chats" **tab at the top of your Quely interface. A number next to the "Chats" tab indicates the total number of initial messages.

Viewing Initial Messages: Within the "Chats" tab, you will see a list of all initial messages that have been sent. Each listed message will display:
- The sender's name (e.g., "Quely AI," "Evan").
- The content of the initial message (e.g., "Are there any dependencies or prerequisites for this task that need to be completed before we can proceed?").
- A timestamp (e.g., "2 months ago," "about 1 hour ago").
- A reply counter (e.g., "0 Replies," "1 Reply").
- A "Resolved" status if applicable.
- A "Filter" option at the top right to help you sort through messages.

3. Engaging in Chat Threads (The Sidebar Interface)
Clicking on any initial message listed in the "Chats" tab will open its dedicated "thread" in a sidebar on the right side of your screen.
This sidebar is where detailed discussions stemming from that initial message take place, allowing for replies, attachments, and meeting scheduling.

3.1. Layout of the Chat Thread Sidebar:
The Chat Thread Sidebar provides a focused view for ongoing discussions:
Header: Displays the current topic title and contains tabs like "Thread" and "Agenda." An "x" icon allows you to close the sidebar.
Message Thread: The main area where all messages within that specific thread are displayed. Messages appear chronologically, with the newest at the bottom. Each message includes:
- The sender's name.
- A timestamp.
- A reply counter.
- A "Resolve" button (for the initial questions or discussion points).
Action Icons: To the right of the thread input field, you'll find:
- A paperclip icon for attaching files.
- A calendar/schedule icon for scheduling meetings.

3.2. Responding to messages within a Thread:
- To reply within a specific discussion thread, use the input field at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Type your response.
- Your message will appear in the thread, attributed to you.
3.3. Resolving Discussion Points:
To mark a specific message or question within a thread as addressed:
- Locate the message you wish to resolve within the sidebar thread.
- Click the "Resolve" button positioned below that message.
- A small pop-up menu will appear with options: "Resolved", and "Unresolved".
- "Resolved" is accompanied by a green checkmark, signaling to all participants that the item has been concluded.

3.4. Attaching Files to Thread Conversations:
You can directly share relevant files within an ongoing chat thread:
- Click the paperclip icon located next to the input field in the thread sidebar.
- Your computer's standard file explorer window will open.
- Browse and select the file(s) you wish to attach. Quely supports various file types, including images (.png, .jpg) and videos (.mp4).
- Once selected, the file will be uploaded and shared in the chat thread. You can cancel the file selection at any time.

3.5. Scheduling Meetings Directly from a Chat Thread:
Initiate a meeting that is contextual to your ongoing discussion: Click the calendar/schedule icon located next to the paperclip icon within the thread's input area.

- A "Schedule a meeting" pop-up window will appear.
- Configure your meeting details within this pop-up:
- Title: A pre-filled title is inputted based off the context of the thread (you can edit this)
- Meeting Type: Select the desired duration from the dropdown menu (e.g., "30 minutes," "45 minutes," "1 hour," "1 hour 30 minutes").
- Participants: View current participants and use the input field to add additional attendees.
- Select Meeting Type: Choose your preferred video conferencing platform from the dropdown (e.g., "Google Meet," "Microsoft Teams").
